While I was at the Tucson Quilt Fiesta in January, I was privileged to meet quilt artist Karen G. Fisher. She is a force to be reckoned with in every way! She made a series of wall quilts designed to showcase buttons she purchased at her local Wal-Mart. The buttons are a line distributed by Blumenthal Button Company. Here are a couple photos of the one she entered in the show. 
In addition, Karen made some of the awards ribbons. I sure wish I had won one of these! Button Up! Karen did!
Such beautiful, colorful work! Recently received some buttons from a friend, sparks some creative ideas for their use to display and enjoy! Thank you!
